To bind your versions into the interactive filmstructure perfectly, you just have to consider that at the end of a scene Augustina should be somehow "catapulted" out of the image. This does not apply to the routine GOOD NIGHT, because that scene has got a fade-out at its end in the baseline-movie. GOOD MORNING starts with a fade-in, so the whole film can be played as a loop (see also explanation filmstructure).
